Default Window Cleaning

What is the best way to clean your window, it seems like the micro fibre towels I have leave lint behind.

I use a small terry cloth type hand towel- washed only in Soap and hot water... no fabric softener. If it squeaks when you wipe the window it will be clean and no streaks ... if no squeak from the towel and window then the towel is contaminated with something and will leave streaks or streak easy. the cleaner is glass cleaner either windex or the blue aerosol can from Costco 4 pack.

Try the amazing KD Cloth: http://www.kdcloth.com/

I have been using it for years now. Dip the cloth in distilled water for best results.

You can smear vaseline all over the glass, and KD cloth will take it right off.

A friend gave me a Norwex cloth kit. The kit has two microfiber cloths. One you dampen with water and the other is for polishing. I could not believe my eyes, absolutely no streaks and very easy especially inside the windshield

Terry cloth wash cloth cleaned and dried w/o softener. I wet it thoroughly, wring it out, and wash the windows, then dry with a dry terry cloth hand towel before the water dries. No softener on towels, no glass cleaner or other products. Just clean water.

I use a microfiber for the first (cleaning) wipes, then use a Glass microfiber (very tightly woven, non-linting) like from Adam's for the final wipe to take care of streaks.

Here's something different, been using it for years......newspapers, not new ones...give them a month+ to dry out. With any glass cleaner.

Inside or out?

Two different questions with two different answers.

Outside, Invisible glass cleaner and paper towels. Inside, a very clean dry MF bonnet on a stick.
