Spare tire solution?
Talk about having to change a tire on a busy road. How about trying to find the puncture on a busy road and having to lay down on the fing ground to do it on a c6?
Sounds like a flat repair kit with a slime like product and a tire inflator is the way to go if one doesn't want to carry a spare tire kit or use run flats. And even with slime you have to get to the flat before its "flat".
I guess the run flats are used for a reason. Unfortunately.
My neighbor has a caddy cts V and just this week he had the flat tire on the freeway thing. No spare on these caddys either. It took him half a day to get the thing fixed. The flatbed tow would have ripped his front spoiler off so he said "no" to the tow. He ended up making his way home and rigged together a spare that he had in his garage. Later that day he told me he wished he had the run flats instead.
Pluses and minuses to the whole tire thing I guess.
Re, your comments on tire plugs and compressors. There is no easy solution. But running ZP tires means that the driver doesn't have to fix the flat on the side of the road. The driver could certainly go the nearest stop. And likely the first course of action is just to drive to the nearest tire shop.
If your point is that it's unwise to run with conventional tires with no jack and spare, I totally agree. Yes, even Slime is a better option (which is a mess and seldom works).

I'm running the Bridgestone RE050A Run flats on my Z06 and have ~38,000 miles on them. I drive all over the US and thankfully I've never had a flat. If I ever do, then I know I can safely drive a hundred miles, or so, on them.
I don't carry slime or a compressor. I do carry a 3# aluminum jack(from a Mercedes) that will drop to 2.75 " height, in case I do have a flat and the tire shop's jack won't fit under the car.

There are dozens of other car problems that can leave you stranded without warning, that you can't fix on the side of the road. The TPMS gives you a chance to address tire issues before they fall into the total shutdown category.
Don't let fear of the unknown ruin your enjoyment.
