More likely PS, Brake and washer fluids. Doubt they checked trans and diff levels.

I wouldn't worry about trans/diff fluid. They are meant to go 100k miles before changing.

Depends how it has been driven and taken care of, if you don't know consult the GM Manual for service information for your make/model. I do my major services at 30, 60 and 90k...Cooling, Trans and diff and a brake flush in between but I tend to drive mine pretty hard and live in a harsh climate...nothing wrong with preventive maintenance.

If you see any oil spots where you park or evidence of a leak under your car be sure to have it checked. If you park in a clean garage you will always know when something is leaking. BTW if you have an 08 with the original differential fluid you may want to change it to the new GM fluid.
