Default problems installing Oracle side mearker lites

got a set of Oracle side marker lights for my 13 GS coupe...I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong...the install instructions are pretty vague...problem is with the driver side rear...I got the OEM light out. Removed the OEM bulb ..putting the harness onto the Oracle housing is almost impossible...but I muscled it on...now when I try to install the light housing the harness and connections are too long and hit against what is the outside of the trunk...this is the first one Ive tried to install and very frustrating... any advice is greatly appreciated...Ive spent the last hour doing searches and cant find where anyone else has had this problem...so I know its gotta be operator headspace....

just tried the passenger side and same thing,,,,,

wow almost a hundred views and not one comment....now I know I am screwing something up....

I was hoping to see a reply seeing I'm currently thinking about purchasing a set for my 2012 GS but to date I've been hesitant based on mixed reviews of these lights and after reading your problems I'm thinking I may pass.
Did you buy your set directly from Oracle or another source? If you bought them directly from Oracle try contacting customer service to see what they have to say

I've never used their products but with all the complaints I saw about this company it is good you are reporting this to others so they don't get burned also. Sorry it is not working for you and I hope you find a fix. Read that the halos for the headlights will burn out within a year. Not good considering how hard it is to remove a headlight lens without destroying it. Watch out for Corvette Creationz also. I lost $1200.00 on a hood plus labor and materials for a product that should never be sold.

I've searched the Forum for reviews on Oracle and it seems issues are more consistent when their products are purchased from vendors as opposed to buying directly from them. Members who purchased directly from Oracle were satisfied with the service received in order to rectify their issues which was somewhat comforting but I can't understand the inconsistency or why a product is better purchased directly form the manufacturer it's still the same product and any flaws reflect on the manufacturer unless vendors are selling seconds or reconditioned products

It's also possible that a counterfit parts are being reproduced. The Chinese are very sneaky that way.

Are you sure you have the correct light for the correct side and/or haven't mixed up front and rear? I believe the angles of the bulb and harness is different for each. Can't remember if it's side to side or front back that are specific.

Pretty sure you're doing something wrong with the harness. The stock harness basically just plugs into the back of the new side marker and the side marker just snaps into place. There should be no interference with reinstalling the side marker or you're doing something wrong.

I have them and no issues installing at all. If I remember right they are marked on the back as to what position they go. Can you post pics of what you have?

try installing on other side of the car, maybe on the wrong side. If they are marked, then drivers side would be left and passenger would be right.
