Just finished installing a Kenwood DNX893S in my 06. Now looking for a good place to mount the backup camera. Any suggestions? Has anyone mounted it on the bottom of the rear diffuser between the exhaust tips?
Congrats, I have a very similar model Kendwood in my '07 and love it!!
I have this one for the back-up camera. Attaches to license plate top holes and is very unobtrusive and provides a great angle. And actually mine is just the piece between the holes, not the whole frame. I'm sure it's easily found on Amazon.

That is a very nice unit and placement. It's only $21.+ on Amazon, which is the whole licence plate fame/built in camera.

No way... put it near the license plate lights, that's where it should be for every car... near exhaust tips is too low and too far back, there's a reason why manufacturers don't place them that low
I put mine near the license plates, and it's pretty much invisible and works great
Oh my god, why are you people putting it at the bottom, it's a horrendous eye soar and just plain WRONG

I just walk around my car before getting in, then look in the mirrors when backing. I guess driving a fire truck and ambulance for almost 15 years taught me that. But if I were going to get one, I like the license plate one thats built in.
I didn't want any screws going in to install mine, so I have the license tag camera. It works pretty well, but I have to remember to go angle it further down so I can make sure I am able to see the curb clearer!
