Burning oil

My friend has a 2007 C6 he's check oil sensor came on he was a lil low on oil so he added one quart of oil 2 weeks later it happened again he was low he checked but don't see no oil leak is this a regular then for his C6 or what could it be

Any smoke coming from the exhaust? Possibly blue?

No smoke is coming from the car

Burning oil can come from having bad valve seals and will not necessarily see any blue smoke out the exhaust.
Has your friend had any mods done to the car?
What mileage does he have on the car

I don't think he had mods done it has about 108,000 miles on it

Maybe able to confirm valve seals if the sprak plugs are inspected, and they should show a caking deposits on the electrodes something like this.

If it is not leaking or burning oil, it is going somewhere. Check the radiator and transmission fluid levels. Also see if the rear of the car has an oil film on it.
