Received my Tech2 so was finally able to clear Theftlock on my replacement OEM Bose navigation head unit I swapped out when the screen failed on the one in my 2011 Grandsport.
The following are screen shots from the Tech 2 showing how to remove the Theftlock code and relearn the VIN on the replacement radio.
This is what I'm talking about it, we need to document procedures like this so in the future we have a data base to work from it. That's why I suggested few days ago to start a Thread like this one all in one place instead of looking for 100 post all over the CF. Thanks RC4G.

My clone Tech2 is 2 years old and a few month ago I had the same issue with “Unable to connect to Candi” I ordered a new CANDI and had no luck kept getting the “Unable to connect to Candi” screen. Then I decided to order from amazon the power cable the one that connects to the Tech2 and Bingo the Tech2 worked fine so my advice is that if you're going to order parts start with the cheapest one, The power cable.
