Default How to get better MPG in the C6? What is your average MPG?

i've been leaving my info display to show MPG, and im usually hitting around 17.2 MPG. i noticed in the wintertime in CA, i would get 18+ Driving most city sometimes highway. There used to be so many infomercials back in the day for a product called zmaxx. But I never see them anymore maybe it was a gimmick

I run stp fuel injector cleaning every oil change

Work commute from home 24 mpg
Weekend drive to visit wife mid 30s (seems like 32-33 one way and 36-38 other way) yes one way is downhill and other uphill
Work commute from rental 5mpg
Typically on the display... 22 as long as it's been a day since visiting the wife.

My '06 Z06 661 HP with this kind of mileage the ricers can suck it! I took this coming home from a car show on the interstate last winter.

Still gotta fill it up when its empty, not going to get better mileage than GM did. If its that big a deal sell the car ya cant afford it.

My mileage is so great sometimes I have to stop and siphon out a gallon or it overflows.

No but seriously, 7 gears in a narrow-gated shifter and some computerized mechanicals that cuts out cylinders to go haywire and need repair$ is part of why I didn't get a C7. If MPG was my thing I'd have a diesel
Golf.

0 mpg. It gets what it gets when it gets it. Depending on wind speed and direction, uphill or downhill or flat, how hard/fast I push on the skinny pedal, etc, etc, etc. Who cares??? Sorry, end of rant.

Assuming you no longer have the stock fuel injectors, how is the DIC computing MPG. What was the adjustment in the tune?

Reason I am asking, I no longer have the stock fuel injectors and I know my DIC is off.
