I have a 2011 GS and need to upgrade the navigation system map DVD. Do i need to go to the dealer to order or are there aftermarket sites to order from. The C6 nav system is garbage IMO as it is but with the outdated map it is even worse.

I just received version 10 (2016) from a seller on EBay for $39. There are several sellers on EBay that sell them for $39. The price dropped from the $59 stated in the prior post a few days ago.

Do you have a link to your seller? I am searching around on Ebay but don't see anything at that price. I have an '05 vette and at $40 I would get the update.

Just search for C6 Corvette navigation update. Several will pop up on Ebay for $39.

Nice, I just ordered one for my 2010. Not bad for a new GM NAV disk!
Except it is not a new GM NAV disk.
It is an illegal, pirated copy.
A word of warning. Many of the pirated disks are not silk-screened directly on the disk and use inkjet or laser printed labels. If your disk uses a paper or vinyl label make sure it is fully adhered to the DVD at all the edges as you don't want the label deforming at speed and catching the drive assembly.

Mine has the label silkscreened on the disc and looks just like the one that came from GM. It has all the same info including the GM part number. It may be a copy, but if it is, they do a great job.
I just ordered mine for $39 off the ebay site. Hope that it works ok. It said it may need a software update for the 2011 GS models. Don't know how you would update the software other than with the disc. Guess we will see on Thursday when it shows up.

I think the software update is only with the Cadillac STS. The disc worked perfectly with my 2006. You shouldn't have a problem.
The Nav in my 13 GS works perfectly, as a place to mount the suction cup for my Garmin. The system in the newer GM cars is great. in the C6's, no so much!!

If you know how to use it the C6 nav will get you there as well as a Garmin.
I also ordered the disk from the link in post # 7 above.
With free shipping, price was right.
Hoping the label is silk screened!
Since on the link I did not see the word "new" that created some doubt, yet then I also thought GM attorneys and licensing wouldn't allow "clones".

If the disk was not originally purchased from this site then it is an unlicensed, illegal copy regardless of the quality of the reproduction.
It is each individual's choice if they wish to purchase pirated software. My only goal in pointing out the fraud is so you don't represent it (or potentially sell it later) as genuine GM licensed software.
Follow up to my post # 16
Received disk today...timely received from vendor.
Disk functions 100%, price was $39.95 total.
The part number on the disk is: 23286274
But the version number on the disk is: Ver 9.0
And the text file in the disk data under Version (Text File) says: COMMENT=2015 ver.1
So yes, I bet it is a clone and I just don't know if this is the lastest C6 disk (Ver 10) or the second to last (Ver 9). The POIs do contain new buildings constructed in the last 4 years in my area.
All above FWIW.
So, does anyone forum member know if this is the last version...any other test to verify?
Also, with my eyes and touch, I can't tell if the label on the disk is a sticker or silk screen
2016 is the latest version. I have a clone and it works fine. I've found that the OEM navagations are behind at least a year. So buying version 2016 is really buying 2015 technology. Your better off with a portable or your smart phone. My wife swears by Waze. She's got a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory nav but prefers to use her Waze app. I'm not in the vehicle long enough to keep spending money on upgrades.
