Weird tpsm behavior
So I got a second set of wheels for my 11 grand sport...reason...they had like new michelin pilots and the price was much less than just buying the tires...they are the comp grey wheels . Put them on and the ride is now incredible vs the stock goodyears. Drove about 50 miles without a hitch..start the car to go home and the tire monitor warning goes on and now they are no longer recognized. Where fine the first part of the trip...so what gives?

The sensors were never programmed to the car. The first part of your trip was using leftover readings from the previous wheels. When the car sees NO sensors at all, it will go 35 to 50 miles before alerting the driver.

Thanks for the reply....went to Mr Tire...they want 15$ per wheel to do a reset...I went on ebay and got this tool for $20

Did the job in less than 1 minute! Don't spend more....this tool works fabulously...every corvette owner should have one. Shame on mr tire charging $60 for one minute's work!
