Default National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park

Just visited the Motorsports Park for the first time (Lifetime member of the Museum). It is a blast! For $40 you get to chase a pro driver in a Z06 using your own car for 3 laps on a 3.3 mile track . No room for woosies here! He gave me all I could handle, 1.03 g's in the corners and over 100mph in at least 2 spots. Highest speed I saw was 106 but I didn't get to watch very much. If you're better than I am, and I assume most of you are, he will speed things up. My first time on a road course but now I have a better idea of just how good these cars are in the corners.

It's fun driving the car at higher speeds. Hope you enjoyed it!

It is awesome! Here is my write up from last year. Going back next months with three GoPro cameras!

The NCM is a fun place to visit. Have been there twice, though our C6 lives in Idaho, so didn't make the trip to that side of the US.

It would be fun to explore their track, though not too likely for us.

We were there in April, did 4 laps each time hit 115 on the straight and a 100 in another spot. It was blast as were the hot laps when we rode in their car with them driving got between 140-160 even better and a stock Z06 too

Oh, man - we missed out!! Something I read lead me to think they were only doing slightly above highway speeds on this stuff, so we didn't look into it. Won't make that mistake again.

Of course, they didn't specify which country those highways were in. Can you say, "Autobahn"?

If there someone in the group who is slow then they will go slow so if you are doing it make sure those on the track with you want the speed too
