Can anyone help me with the options this car has? It's an 08 base car. Thanks Mike

It is a 3LT equipment group with F55 Mag Ride shocks, FE2 suspension which is the standard "soft ride" suspension with the F55 shocks added.

This is seems like it might be perfect for my first corvette. It's low mileage and in my price range. So with that suspension will it ride good and still handle well enough to be fun to drive?

Here's the 2008 Order Guide if you want to decode most of those codes. The ones you don't find in the Order Guide you really don't care about.

Also just noticed it has the desirable "Performance Axle" option, GU2 which is the optional 2.73 rear end ratio for the 6 speed auto trans.

Oh yea, if you aren't a track rat looking for extreme corner carving ability the F55 in Sport is great and the everyday ride in Tour is splendid. I had an '08 vert with same equipment and my wife loved the ride, it is very pleasant.

Thank you. That guild is exactly what I needed. I'm never going to the track. Just wanting something fun to take anywhere. Something that will be fun through some curves occasionally. I'm sure there's performance upgrades I can do if I ever outgrow it.

I don't know how much you wil 'outgrow' it ... As soon as you think maybe you have, you will do something that will give the car a good chance to scare the crap out of you.

Enjoy the C6 ...

I am betting you are correct. The last car I had anything close to a corvette was a 95 trans am. I did eventually out grow it in 3 years. But I drove it everyday. This car will be something I drive every other weekend and never in rain or snow.

On the F55 magnetic ride suspension, there's not much difference between tour mode and sport mode unless you're on rough roads, then you can tell it.
