Not hard to raise or lower the car via the ride height adjusters.
You just need to soak the threads with PB blaster over night, then get the tension off the springs before you adjust the tensioners.
Now the bad thing with touching the ride height adjusters, is they set the 4 corner balance to the car to get it to corner correctly,
So to do it correctly, need to 4 corner balance the car when you are taking it up via the adjusters, then do it again when you drop the car back down.
The alignment will be off when the car is raised, also when you drop it back to where it was unless you have it perfect the alignment will still most likely be off.

If the roads are that bad I wouldn't take my car, not worth the trouble. Just saying
R U SERIOUS ?????????????? Park the car & become a waxer as you suggest????? Make a real suggestion or go back to the newest form of Corvette owners: under warranty and no idea of what the car does

Lighten up Francis!!! He's just saying in his opinion it's not worth the effort to realign the car every time you raise/lower it. If you get butt hurt with comments made don't ask questions!
what do you think dumb ***? If you care about your tires align it when you raise it and once again when you set it back down, or don't align it at all .. nobodys going to care about your club or car going over rough roads as much as you do so maybe ask your club members what to do???
I've driven my car on miles of gravel road, not intentional, but it happens. Didn't hurt the car at all. But you're talking about raising your car. I'm imagining 6-8 inch deep pot holes where you are going. It's just a car.

It's just a car? It's just a car! You're right, it is just a car that some of us are crazy obsessed with!

The stock adjusters will raise and lower the car ... The problem is that it don't change the ride height all that much.
If you trying to raise the car because you plan on driving down some bumpy gravel road, I think your just fooling yourself if you think you can get it high enough to really make a difference by just turning the stock adjusters.
If the roads are anything worse than a fairly flat gravel road, you will not get enough adjustment to save your car...and I do mean, "save your car". You will not get it up even to the level of a common family sedan.
i would rent an SUV for the trip...You could do a lot of damage to your Vette.
