Default Simple raise or lower

Guys, We are doing a club gathering in some extremely rough roads with little clearance and would like to raise my 2005 base as far as possible to avoid problems. I can do whatever is suggested as to this.....PLEASE let me know the best way to raise my C6..........Yes I know after this trip the car MUST BE LOWERED TO AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL!!!!!!!
Thanks to all......................

Not hard to raise or lower the car via the ride height adjusters.

You just need to soak the threads with PB blaster over night, then get the tension off the springs before you adjust the tensioners.

Now the bad thing with touching the ride height adjusters, is they set the 4 corner balance to the car to get it to corner correctly,

So to do it correctly, need to 4 corner balance the car when you are taking it up via the adjusters, then do it again when you drop the car back down.

The alignment will be off when the car is raised, also when you drop it back to where it was unless you have it perfect the alignment will still most likely be off.

Lighten up Francis!!! He's just saying in his opinion it's not worth the effort to realign the car every time you raise/lower it. If you get butt hurt with comments made don't ask questions!

I've driven my car on miles of gravel road, not intentional, but it happens. Didn't hurt the car at all. But you're talking about raising your car. I'm imagining 6-8 inch deep pot holes where you are going. It's just a car.

It's just a car? It's just a car! You're right, it is just a car that some of us are crazy obsessed with!

The stock adjusters will raise and lower the car ... The problem is that it don't change the ride height all that much.

If you trying to raise the car because you plan on driving down some bumpy gravel road, I think your just fooling yourself if you think you can get it high enough to really make a difference by just turning the stock adjusters.

If you still plan on raising the car, just raise the front as far as the front adjusters will allow (again, it won't be all that much).

Leave the rear adjusters alone ... The front of the car is where you will scrape, not the rear.

If the roads are anything worse than a fairly flat gravel road, you will not get enough adjustment to save your car...and I do mean, "save your car". You will not get it up even to the level of a common family sedan.

i would rent an SUV for the trip...You could do a lot of damage to your Vette.
