Default Original plugs #

I have a 2007 base convertible with 50K on it. I decided to change the original plugs and wires on it. I put in Delco wires and Iridium plugs #41-110 as called for as a direct replacement for the original plugs. You guessed it now I am getting a “Service Charging System” message. What was the original Delco Plug Number for this car? Yes, of course I tossed the original ones before getting the message. I am going to see if I can find a set and put them in to see if the message goes away.

If not done yet, I would double check that the plug wires are completely engaged on the plugs/coils. Should be a sort of double click.

If it's not that, you should go to a GM parts website where you can enter your VIN and then part #'s for your vehicle can be identified

The plugs that came in your car were #41-985; they were discontinued several years ago. The replacement part number is 41-110.

You have the right plugs. I doubt if it is related to the message you are getting.
