Searched all thru owners manual and C6 A Pillar postings on here and can't find any info. What is this ??? attached to to the driver side A pillar.

OnStar mic, also works with the Nav and can be used for phone conversation, I think, with aftermarket equipment.

Thanks for the help
You probably also have one of those in the front face of your dash below the ignition switch. In that application its used as a microphone to sense the ambient noise level in the cabin for the automatic volume control that adjusts the sound systems volume level according to road speed and background noise.

Actually, the inside air temp sensor is behind that "grill" area near the start button.
