So I get my Power Bond HB form Summit yesterday and their package is great looking, but thats where it stopped. The manufactures box that the HB comes in looks like it was drop kicked all the way from Australia, horrible shape.
So I open it and find the outer front pulley has a nick on it, the inside of the shaft has an abrasion and there's some sort of lube on it also.
This is a precision piece so I take it to my installer and he thinks it may have been installed or at least tried to be.
I call Summit, explain my sit rep and they're great, shipped another one right off, and issued a UPS pickup with an apology
Cant get any better than that

Good luck Bobby, let us know how it goes.

Oh, and does your wife know you're up this late fooling around on the internet?

Good for Summit. Everybody makes mistakes. How those mistakes are handled separate the good from the turds. Sounds like you found a good guy to install it as well.

Sweet! I wish all customer service worked that way. It's really shocking that they can stay in business that way with all the scammer hacks who ruin stuff and then return it.

That's really good for you. Someone must not have looked in the box when it got returned the first time. Glad Summit came thru for you. They seem to be a pretty stand group.

Pat: I noticed he never responded to my comment. What to conclude?

Maybe he's having an affair with the Geico gecko . . . ? (I hope that gecko is a female, I can't tell)
