I may be wrong but I think you are missing the Y pipe connector, You should have the headers connected to the X pipe and the X pipe connected to the Y pipe and in turn that connects to your over the axle exhaust, maybe this photo will help even thou it Kooks system

Did you order the right one? The correct years need or info and correct model? The LS2/LS3(08) 05-08 had a different angel axleback connector than the 09-13 LS3. Also are you an LS3 or a ZO6? If you ordered the Z06 (06-13) or ZR1(09-13) and your an LS3 that could be another problem also. I don't have headers but that's what I learned and I could be totally wong!!! LoL

I just put this settup on my car but i had the 3 inch corsa sports on my car. You should have some connector pipes in between xpipe and corsa settup. Mine went right in but real close to trans. Went and got the band clamps for mine the v bands would not work rite for me.

Looks like you just need to move it over a little and slide it in,length looks right. Make sure all bolts everywhere are loose first.

Is that the system you installed in your car? Did you have any problems with a CEL before you had it tuned?

I got my set used and had a zo6 settup on my car so i had to order the 3 inch connection pipes but the fit pretty good. But the 3 inch pipes were alot shorter than the 3 to 2.5 pipes like yours.

Update

this is the way I had to do mine I had to connect the axleback to the extensions first then slide them to the x pipe. Once that is done I had to slide the headers to the x pipe then bolt up the headers it was a pain in the *** so tomorrow I'm gna bolt up the mufflers hope they just slide in I'll see how it goes
