It's a car and things wear out or go bad. Each car model has their engineering flaws regarding both design and part quality.
Harmonic Balancer is notorious for poor quality.
C5 and C6 seats rock from premature wear from poor designed part/quality.
The front windshield cowling making noise at highway speeds. It can rip too, and vibrate.
Glove box lock breaks and the inside rear view mirror loosen's up.
Fuel tank adjoining hardware crack/leak.
Engine is pretty solid. The MAF sensor can be picky with turbulent air say from a aftermarket intake or filter.
I am sure others may list more but these are some.

- no perpetual grin when watching the balancer wobble like a drunken sailor
-not much attention from opposite sex anymore cause all they care about are their cell phones
-MAYBE faster than 95% of the cars on road, but at any given time there could be a 4 door sedan that pulls up next to you that could blow your doors off
-MPG is only high on the highway, and thats only if you keep your foot out of it
-A nice looking car...but probably not in the top 50 ever built.
I love my Corvette too, but i'm not gonna white wash the facts....LOL..

They seem to have a drinking problem. Always thirsty.
Didn't see mention of the popping/flexing sounds from the roof in the summer when it's hot outside but cool inside from A/C. It doesn't bother me, but some people get annoyed.
