Default Obx headers ?

Have been thinking about adding a set of long tube headers with hf cats. I found Obx systems for we'll under a thousand and would like to get some opions from someone who has them.
Just could not hit the buy button without knowing a little more about them,,thanks

Try the search menu, lots of current threads on this subject. Depending on your goals and pocket book read the Hooker Blackheart thread LT vs ST. Some swear by the LT headers but myself and several others went with the ST. As far as the OBX systems I have heard they are a great value but can't comment on the fit. Good luck.

have had them for about 7 years, fit was perfect, quality is great, power was great, just as much power as a set costing 2x as much.
No issues at all with them.

Nothing bad to say but consider what comes with them as some of the additional items needed are expensive such as
02 extensions
tube clamps
hard ware such as fasteners
gaskets
They add up fast $$$$
Good luck

Have you considered Billy Boat Long Tubes? They are under $1K.

I am pretty sure that is just for the headers themselves. It does not come with the X-pipe and cats (+$700).

OBX headers come with everything for under $1k.

I bought the OBX Cat back system from ebay and it included all mounting hardware. Installers said it fit perfectly. Nice sound. I've since installed LG Long tube headers and X pipe, but the OBX mufflers to the tail pipes are still on it. Great combination for sound and power.

Did you get lost? The subject was OBX header systems, lol. I actually went on their website, but could not find their header system for an LS3. They listed one for an LS2 (not sure if it's the same as for an LS3), and of course the ones listed on Ebay for the LS7.

I'm wondering if the Ls2 package would fit the LS3? From my research it looks like maybe yes. Sorry I'll stop hijacking your thread

the LS2 package will fit an 08 LS3.I believe things changed in the 09 over the axle pipe and you may have to modify to fit

So much for the obx headers, recived a email from obx thru amazon saying they are out of stock and please cancel the order. They offered to substitute with maxiimise brand but I canceled and will keep looking.

I believe they are the same company. Did you look into the Hooker BlackHeart line?
