Hi

I have corvette c6 zo6 2008 limited edition I have cleaned the throttle body then I have notices that the idea of my car is not stable it rise up specially when I press the clutch the rpm goes to 2000 and the car also when its stopped the temperature goes up to 115 degree and note that my cars has headers with pipe and thermostat 160 and MSD intake and harridan air filter and mcloead clutch and tuned . what should I do know to solve this issue it makes me to hate the car .

Your post is not real easy to understand (maybe because you are posting from a cell phone and auto spelling correct is screwing up what you type).

Idle speed of 2,000 rpm is a real problem. You need to get someone that has a code reader to check if your car has set any trouble codes before you can even start to troubleshoot your problems.

What temperature goes to 115 degrees (oil or coolant)? ... I don't understand what your saying here at all. 115 degrees is just barely above normal outside air temp.

Never heard of a "Harridan" air filter, but that would have nothing to do with your problem.

Are you here in the US?

.

1) their is no check engine lights

2) I mean that the coolant temperature is 115 celiacs

3) its harrican air filter

4) I'm from the UAE

I know what has happened and I guessed you were meaning 115C and not in the US.

When you cleaned the throttle body you disrupted the learned idle airflow values. The ECM constantly is adapting (learning) new IAF values as the TB slowly gets contaminated over time. When you cleaned the throttle body, now these IAFs no longer work for the new IAF. However, as you drive, the ECM will begin adapting the new correct IAF values. So it will correct itself.

If you have a GM Tech 2, you can accelerate the learning. The tech2 can erase the current values so the ECM learns faster, but it will correct if you conduct a number of drive cycles.

Do NOT disconnect the battery to attempt to clear the IAF values as this does not work. IAF values are stored in non-volatile memory so they can only be re-adapted by the ECMs learning process or a tech 2 intervention.

I found the tech 2 procedure to relearn IAFs:

Throttle Learn
Reset Procedure (Performed after the throttle body is cleaned or replaced)
Ignition ON, engine OFF, perform the Idle Learn Reset in Module Setup with a scan tool.
Start the engine and monitor the TB Idle Airflow Compensation parameter. The TB Idle Airflow Compensation value should equal 0 percent and the engine should be idling at a normal idle speed.
Clear the DTCs and return to the diagnostic that referred you here.
Learn Procedure (Performed after the ECM is flashed or replaced)
Note: Do NOT perform this procedure if DTCs are set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.

Start and idle the engine for 3 minutes.
With a scan tool, monitor the Desired Idle Speed and the actual Engine Speed.
The ECM will start to learn the new idle cells and Desired Idle Speed should start to decrease.
Ignition OFF for 60 seconds.
Start and idle the engine for 3 minutes.
After the 3 minute run time the engine should be idling normal.
Note: During the drive cycle the check engine light may come on with idle speed DTCs. If idle speed codes are set, clear codes so the ECM can continue to learn.

⇒ If the engine idle speed has not been learned the vehicle will need to be driven at speeds above 70 km/h (44 mph) with several decelerations and extended idles.

After the drive cycle, the engine should be idling normally.
⇒ If the engine idle speed has not been learned, turn OFF the ignition for 60 seconds and repeat step 6.

This great info Like it !!

my local chevy dealer said idle speed will be determined by ECM and TCM and there is no set RPM range. Of course if its getting a code then there's a problem.
