Congratulations from the land of ice and snow Loose Screw. You are blessed to live in a place that you can enjoy your Corvette more than 6 months a year. Enjoy!

You can't drive 'em in the rain either. They melt.

This is the Exact place Marty sung about. It's about 30 minutes walking distance through the desert from my house. It's kind of a trendy place now, they built a Twin Peaks and a Walmart right down the street from it. I haven't been there in years.

Ha! How about the cement filled pipe in front so nobody can smash thru the door and steal cases of Miller High Life while everybody's at Church?

Marty is from here. Part of the main street (Glendale Avenue) is named for him.

Welcome!

I used to live in El Paso, and have driven back there several times in Vettes.

I actually liked it, there.

I expected to hear about the first week ownership ... maybe even a couple pics...dislikes...likes.... so how was the first week?...have fun?
PS ...They run great in the rain but you have to be extra careful about hydroplaning and losing traction in general.

"Out through the back door of Rosa's I ran
Out where the Corvettes were parked
I caught a good one, it looked like it could run
Into the cockpit away I did drive
Just as fast as I could from the West Texas town of El Paso
Out to the badlands of New Mexico"

Changed it up just a bit for ya'.

Happy Anniversary!
