I would think they would be unless paddle shifters are involved.

Another thing would be the steering wheel controls (Bluetooth, audio, etc)

Yes, I THINK (means I don't know for sure) that all C5 and C6 wheels with work on any C5 or 6. That doesn't mean the airbags, accessory controls, horn, bluetooth, etc. will work. You'll be illegal but you can at least steer.

2006 to 2013 wheel cores are all the same , you can add the paddles to a manual but you need the paddles , steering wheel harness and the automatic back cover

2005 is the old style and you cannot add paddles ...

You need to get clock spring, if you change to another year!

Dave I have paddle shift now in 2006 and wanting to change to 2011 wheel with radio controls but keep paddles, looking at both wheels there is no hole in 2011 for paddles I have a clock spring but not sure about paddles don't want to cut hole for paddles.

So all you need to really do is just swap the radio control BEZEL and switch from the 2011 wheel to your 2006 wheel , the bezels should be the same between the two , no need to change the wheel ( 2005 is a different wheel and clock spring )

You will also need to transfer over the 2011 steering wheel wire harness as this has the connectors you will need

if you need pictures let me know as I have a few wheels in my basement lol

Here is your wheel , right ?

Here is the wheel with the radio controls

Here is what the wheel looks like with the airbag removed

see the small silver screws that hold the bezel ?

also you will see the harness that plugs into the clock spring ( white connector ) and to the switch and horn that needs to be transferred

Where can the harness be brought from
It Cant be bought ..... it comes with the steering wheel , believe me I have tried .......

Just buy a used wheel that has the controls and the harness , they are all over EBay and sometimes the for sale section of these forums .

if possible would you share your phone number need someone to talk to
Yep but I am not going to post it here .... Email me dcasole@comcast.net

This is not that hard ....to add to the controls to the wheel...

But don't ask me about what wires you need to add to the steering column harness as I have absolutely no idea ......
