Default Top Off Fuel Tank for Storage?

I see there is an article in the C7 General Discussion section that

suggests keeping your fuel tank at 1/8 to 1/4 full for winter storage.

Is there something drastically different between the C6 & C7 that

would change the popular opinion of storing with a full tank?

Title is how to prepare for winter.

Theory is fuel level sensors won't be in the fuel to form deposits on /corrode / fail.

My 2cents is a full tank. 1/8 to 1/4 just screams condensation.

Don't know why anyone would store a vehicle only 1/8 or 1/4 full, never heard anyone recommend that. I always fill up and add stabil for my boats. I never store a car.

I am a big fan of Stabil, I use the marine grade for my boat & the 360* for my car with good luck through the years, what is your issue with this product?

I fill mine up even if it's going to sit for just a couple of days.

The level floats are in the gas even at 1/8 tank so the theory makes no sense to me.
I always fill mine up

I've seen the opposite theory on the C6 forums. They posit that the deposits/corrosion happen when the level sensors are exposed to air.

Why invite condensation?
