Default Finally in a Vette

Hello Folks,
After years of wanting a Vette and months of searching I finally picked up my first. A 2012 GS 3LT A6. I have wanted a Vette since a 25th Anniversary edition stole my heart back in 78. Happy to finally have one and glad to be a part of maybe the most famous car club in the world.

I will try to get some better pictures in the next few days (only have the dealer pics right now.

Very nice, congratulations and good luck! I'm "kinda" looking to buy/trade up from my '05 and would be looking for something just like this, '12-'13 GS 3LT A6. I've been looking at the local ads, dealer inventory, internet. What color is that? Miles, options, any other info and looking forward to more pics when you get time please!

Great looking car and I love that interior. I was like you in that I was smitten by Corvettes in my younger days and a couple decades later I bought one. They take some TLC but they are definitely not the high strong sports cars that some other vehicles are. You are going to love driving in owning it!

You bet. I will have more pics this weekend. That is Carlisle Blue which I think from reading the forums was exclusive to 2012. The car had 2 previous owners. 40k Miles. Got it for 33k.

Service records indicate it had the following done.
1.liftgate hinge replaced
2. radio speakers replaced
3. window tint
4. Crankshaft Pulley\balancer replaced in 2015
5. Upper control arms replaced 2015
6. window switch replaced
7. wiring harness installed
8. VIN glass etching in 2017

Owner #1 drove it for 2 years and put 6k a year on it.
Owner #2 drove it 3 years and put 8k a year on it.

I will figure out over the weekend all the features and options it has and post them up here when I get it all together.

Nice looking car. I hope the ownership is as wonderful as the wanting.

What took you 40 years to buy one?

Congratulations on your GS Corvette! I too recently acquired a C6 GS convertible, it is my 5th Corvette in the last 30 years and by far the best one yet!

Life! I had an old 87 IROC 5.7, a few 300Z's, 2012 Genesis Coupe, 2015 GTI. I always had need of a back seat. But I bought my son his own truck so now I can finally live in the land of the two-seater.

Troy

I know well the feeling of the wait and the "finally got it." And you did really well with that car. Enjoy it.
