Good question tony. I guess both. Not being much of a wrench turner
Iam little shy of anything to crazy proformance wise.
Appearance wise like pretty much stock look.

So shy of performance mods....and appearance wise pretty much stock?
Only thing that comes to mind is the little air freshener tree for the rear view. But I don't think they are C6-specific. Got one that fits my Vega.
Appearance mods would include wheels, tires, rear spoiler, eagle eye rear light replacements, painted calipers for a few suggestions. As far as performance mods go, that's a completely different animal!
Since you are not into performance mods and like a stock look,
*Lloyds floor mats
*padded center console lid
*cabin/trunk divider
*polished alternator cover
*polished fuse box cover
*paint your stock rear spoiler to match car color

And if you really like music upgrade the stereo system.

No he said nothing crazy performance wise. My list would not be crazy.
Maybe he just wants to know what modifications are common because he wants to know what to look for on used cars? Maybe he wants to know what is original and what is messed with?
No offense intended to any of the professionals on this forum, but some car salesmen don't have a clue what they are selling, and others just plain lie when convenient. And some mods are well executed, and some are Bubba-ed.
Always pays to be a smart buyer.

Most common mods are probably mesh screens for the side vents, chrome grille inserts up front, chrome or color matched overlays on the taillights. Maybe some engine dress up stuff, or the cupholder buddy thing.
That's what it seems like every Corvette I see has, especially at car shows.
I have a 2005 and my goal was a very stock looking car in appearance, with a bit of custom look:
Black halo
Black GM spoiler on rear
MGW shifter (I had to do this one, old shifter was bad)
White ball shift ****
LED Lights interior and exterior (upgrade only, no changes like halo lights.)
LLoyds floor mats ..black with cashmere interior
Carbon Fiber wrap on console (3M DiNoc)
2011 Steering Wheel
So my car looks very stock, but with an edge IMHO. Do what you think looks good. If you like the ricer look with bolt on wheel flares go for it. Not for me, but I'll give you a compliment at your local "cars and coffee".
Just got my first vette about 8 months ago. Didn't go nuts with buying everything in sight !! So many vettes I see are loaded with chrome nic knacks and things that say corvette on them it's kind of funny. Anyway some of the things I did that I really like are as follows, bright fog lights, interior LEDs, with red accent in footwell ( car is victory red ), painter corvette on passenger side dash, bright reverse bulbs, also replaced marker and taillight bulbs with new regular bulbs, corvette seatbelt pads that are nice for long drives and a baby stroller bag that I used behind the back seat for extra storage!! Here are a few pics.
