Default 2008 c6 Coupe

My vehicle does not have a OEM navigstion cd/radio. If i purchase a 2008 c6 used navigation/cd & radio would it function properky in my vehicle?

Yes, but you will need the GPS antenna, and then take it to dealership to program it to your car.

I did the same swap a couple years ago. As 1bdvet said, you will need a GPS antenna (about $50 +/-). You will also need to tap into the VSS wire (Vehicle Speed Sensor). Search 'Ray Kawal' and follow the instructions on his website for a trouble free swap. Ray also sells pre made wiring harnesses for your application. He has the VSS wiring harness with the correct plug to fit the NAV radio. Finally you will need to have either a GM dealer, or anyone with a TECH II to "reprogram" the NAV radio to your car. The radio will be locked as soon as you start your car because of the theft lock built into it. The TECH II is needed to erase the old VIN # from the radio, and allow it to "marry" to the VIN # of your car. Good luck.
