+1 from me on this advice regarding Jim Mero's reprogramming.

Also, in normal driving there's not too much difference between the two modes in stock form. Where it is most noticeable is on whoop-de-do roads where the front end floats a bit. This is the easiest way to tell the difference. There is a noticeable difference between the modes in the twisties when pushing the car hard.

I've had a chance to take mine to the track after the Mero upgrade and the Sport setting is now quite good. The car remains flatter, the nose doesn't dive as far under hard braking, and it doesn't rise as much under hard acceleration. At the very least, it is more confidence inspiring now.

I just put on a set of Z51 sway bars. Anybody done the Mero mod with these sways?

I'm planning to do this after the first of the year. Until then, I'm in Sport mode 99% of the time.

My '08 isn't eligible for the Mero mod, but I did swap out my OEM sways for the Z51 option bars somewhere around 30-50K miles. The ride remained nearly the same, but the cornering was much flatter. I also switched to Nitto Invos from the OEM runflats somewhat prior to the sways. The combo worked great for me.
