seat cover installation posts

Over the last couple years, I recall seeing a few very detailed posts regarding installing new seat covers. I have done a thorough search, including FAQ, and can find nothing.

Can anyone provide me links to the install tips for seat covers? There were some very good ones, with pics, and I would like to have them before I start on mine.

Thanks for any help.

I tried to put different seat covers on my Z after I bought it. Wanted to change from black to black/grey. Started taking passenger side cover off and found it had numerous pieces, and they had to go back in a certain way in consecutive order. Ended up taking them to an upholstery shop and letting them finish and do the driver seat. Charged me $100. Well worth it in my opinion. If I remember correctly, the passenger seat cover was about 4 or 5 different pieces. Way over my head. Good luck.

I used both the link provided above and a Leatherseats.com video. Looks like they might have taken that video down though.

This youtube vid looks ok

I had never done this type of work before and was able to get the job done.

Here's a pic of the first set installed. I used zip ties instead of hog rings though. Easier to work with.
