What's This Rectangular Box Next to My Rear View Mirror
I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual. So what is this rectangular box next to my rear view mirror?

2005:
AM / FM is in behind the rear fascia (there are two)
XM is on top of the B pillar on a coupe and on the trunk in a convertible.
Onstar is the black retangular box on the top right side of the windshield.
2006 - 2010:
AM / FM is in behind the rear fascia (there are two).
XM is located inside the .
Onstar is the black retangular box on the top right side of the windshield

From another forum concerning antenna locations:
2005:
AM / FM is in behind the rear fascia (there are two)
XM is on top of the B pillar on a coupe and on the trunk in a convertible.
Onstar is the black retangular box on the top right side of the windshield.
2006 - 2010:
AM / FM is in behind the rear fascia (there are two).
XM is located inside the sideview mirrors.
Onstar is the black retangular box on the top right side of the windshield

Thank you guys for the info. I noticed this the day I bought my car. I asked the salesman if it was part of the dealership lot anti-theft system or something. He had no idea and I filed it away to determine at a later date. I forgot about it until this thread...it isn't highly visible from my driving position. Chalk another one up to the wealth of knowledge from CF.

One afternoon it was about 107 degrees out. I get in the car and my Onstar antenna is hanging by a wire. The tape securing it could not handle the heat. I unplugged it, removed it and have not missed it since.

Me too. When I get rid of the car I'll get some fresh tape and connect it back in.
