I have a 07 base model c6 and I’m going to do the 15” conversion but I’m going to keep my stock base fenders, what’s the widest “ wheel” I can run if I do a 15?? Would a 15x10 be ok? Or will that he to wide for the stock fender
I haven't ran the 15" wheel on my C6 because I have no interest in doing the conversion to make them fit, so I don't know all of the specifics but depending on tire width used, you should be able to get away with a 15x10 with around 6 to 7 inches of backspacing and that should put you close to flush or possibly sticking out a little bit.
there is a guy who runs at one of our local tracks with dark stars in 15x10 but I think his backspacing is closer to 8 inches and his stick out about an inch or two past the edge of the fender

Unless you're gonna be making some crazy power and/or plan on launching it at 5000RPM (or more) why not save yourself the hassle and just go with a setup similar to mine?
315/35/17" Hoosier drag radials on C4 ZR1 reproduction rims - regularly cut mid 1.3 60ft times launching it at around 1800RPM.
I almost did the same thing a couple years back only to realize that I was getting as good (and in some cases better) 60ft times than full blown race cars will slicks running in the 9s.

no rubbing with a 315? And what kind of power are you making?
