What is my Vette worth

What is my Vette worth
Hey all, I'm just trying to get an idea on what my Vette would be worth on a private sale / what would you pay if you were in the market?
I'm in New York (so lets assume it is Spring/Summer when people would buy).
2007 Black/Black 3LT Z51 Convertible Stick
Impeccable shape, nearly flawless
Power Top, Heated Seats, Leather, etc.
19k miles
No accidents, clean carfax
Needs nothing
Your help would be appreciated!

Try KBB, NADA guide, Edmonds, etc.. for values. That's the easiest way to get a ballpark average for you cars value. Its easy just punch in your cars info. Look on Craigslist and local dealers sites to see what people are asking for theirs.

Hi Cuckoo,
yes I've done all the above but sometimes a more accurate reflection is hearing from enthusiasts on what it would truly be worth in a face-to-face transaction.
For reference, I paid 27k for the car on LI back in April, with 10k miles.

What did those sites say?
Another option is to check Autotrader, cars.com, carmax, and cargurus and see what similar cars go for.
Otherwise it's worth $17 and a box of rocks.

I just traded in 2 cars, my 2007 convertible 3lt, F55, manual with 23,000 miles. The dealership gave me $23,000 for the Vette and I traded in a Dodge Nitro which I owed $11,000 but was only worth $8,000, they paid off the Nitro. So I think I could have got $26,000 for the Vette. The dealership now has my Vette for sale $28,000.

I agree with the rest. I think 27 was a little much for that car even though it is in Great shape and low milage.

Location has a big impact on pricing as well. Here in Oregon you would never find that car with the prices that have been thrown out.
Add at least $5K and you would be in the ballpark around here.

I don't want to water down your enthusiasm, but I think you overpaid by quite a bit when you bought it. Often, the value of our cars is determined not only by condition, age, etc. but also by what newer versions of our car are going for, and what a buyer is most interested in.
Typically, the newer the better, and many buyers will generally give up 10K or 15K extra miles to jump ahead 4, or more, years.
Right now, I know of a dealer who has a nice '13 convertible, one owner, 1LT, looks close to new condition, with 44k on the clock. Asking under $28K, which right on book. When you compare a 2007, adding another 25K miles, and $5K, to get 6 years newer...many will decide on the newer vehicle.
So, if yours is worth $23K, that does not mean a buyer will want to spend that on a 2007.
But...the right buyer, who wants what you have, will do so.

I agree with some of the others…..ask $25 and take $23. Unfortunately these cars are going down in price with the 2018's coming out. There are tons of 2014's that can be bought in the $38 to $40K range.

If you leased a corvette for a year it normally would cost 7 grand at least..so 27 minus 7 equals 20 grand..
Take the 23 and be happy.
Jmo
Buying a car and selling it a year later is always a loss.
300 a month cost to own is Honda Civic money..
It's always a question of perspective.
My mint 115k mike one owne z51 manual coupe that needs nothing I'd be lucky to get 17 and at that price I won't sell for a new corvette. This one is just too good.
I'm never afraid of mileage after owning three new corvettes..
I think your low mileage cost you big time on the way in but really loses value on the way out.
Low mileage value takes a special kind of buyer..
Put it on Craigslist and see what you get...
You never know...
Happy holidays and my suggestion is keep the car...
For this kind of money how could you possibly replace it.
Ps I put snow tires on in the winter and drive mine all year round..
I don't believe in water or snow is a big deal for these cars...
And after all they are just cars...
Remember you can buy a new 2017 coupe for 43 grand...so why would someone pay more than 23 for a. 10 year old one?
Just saying...four grand is not a big deal to pay for a year of usuage..

Keep in mind, folks, this is a post asking "did I get gypped at 27 for a 10k mile impeccable car or the value has really decreased" OP is not selling, just wants a feel good answer.
depreciate...it's a verb...means diminish in value over a period of time.
