Exactly! I bought a '59 Vette with a 365hp 327 in it and it just didn't satisfy that need for brutal HP. Back then you couldn't drive those 67s anywhere. They were the most stolen car on the planet and of course, only fit 2 if it was your only car. Had a 64 chevelle painted flat back that we had to go everywhere in when it was to be left parked somewhere. Got old. Got a 65 442 Vert that was awesome car then. But no thrill match.
You had some nice cars too! The C6 was on my bucket list, to finally replace the C2 after 50 years!
I don't take it anywhere that I have to leave it parked. I have my Silverado PU for that!

Good question and one worth researching at the next big show I go to. Not really sure myself. I do have 2013 wheels on it, which are my favorite. It's a Z51, which was called Grand Sport starting in 2008, I think, and they changed to a wide body also. Other than widebody, and small hood scoop on certain models, changes were kept to variations of side scoops. There are people on this forum that know everything. Maybe they will chime in.
