2010 with A6
This might have been asked before, but I see no info on it. What does it do for you if you go to competive mode in the A6? I see the benefits in the owners manual for the manual transmission but nothing really mentioned about the auto.

And as far as placing your A6 trans in the 'Sport' mode vs the leaving your A6 in 'Drive' ....
In Sport mode at wide open throttle (WOT), the transmission will alow the engine RPM to go slightly higher before shifting to the next higher gear. The shifts will also be just slightly firmer ... Again, this is only during WOT.
Just 'slightly' is the key word here ....

In 2011 they added the Dual Mode Steering Rack which when you took the active handling off or put it in competition mode the steering became much more stiffer to provide much better driver communication with the tire patch.
