trouble getting into reverse
Hello again everyone. Thanks to everyone who helped me solve me "new" bad battery in the key fob mystery. another issue i am having is getting my C6 into reverse. i really have no issues with 1st-6th gear. besides not liking the emissions 1st to 4th thing. More annoying than anything. But getting the car into reverse can be challenging sometimes. Sometimes it goes just fine other times put it in second or third and it goes, other times i hold it over towards reverse and slowly take pressure off the clutch and it will slip in. The car only has 50,000 miles on it. Maybe its an adjustment of some kind?

Yeah my '05 has the same issue. I just put it in various gears then to reverse if it's giving me trouble.
As far as skip shift there is a VERY easy "fix" for this. Go to your local auto parts store and get a little fuse but get the kind with the LED that tells you that the fuse is blown (a 10amp mini blade fuse - it's red). I took a pocket knife and broke the fuse link (it's pretty easy). Replace the CAGS fuse with the "blown" led fuse and done.
