Hello,
It may be just in my head but I feel like my 2012 GS is idling a bit rougher than usual. It could be just because it's gotten a bit colder but I did also run the fuel pretty low by accident recently. Didn't run out but was lower than I'd like.
Are there any issues with running an additive in case some dirty fuel went through? If so is there a recommended type?
Thanks!
I use Sea Foam myself, http://seafoamsales.com it's good stuff. I run it in all my vehicles about twice a year. You want to add it before filling up with gas so it gets mixed in well with the gas. Also I avoid gas with ethanol with a passion, there's a lot of stations around here that sell ethanol free premium and that's all I'll put in my babies.

Reason: added link
My GS did the same thing one day after revving the engine and screeching the tires a little bit in a parade. It ran a little rough, then a traction control error showed in the DIC. I pulled the codes with a reader and saw I had a misfire on cylinder #6. The plug wire fell off the plug from revving the motor. Plugged it back in and the idle smoothed out.

Why? Because of all the urban myths about ethanol?
My 2010 base has had a slight miss since I got it. I have tried everything. Sill have it. Oh well.....
I had the same thing .. finally got tired of feeling it "pull" at a light. I watched the misfire count on my TECH ll and it was not limited to any one cylinder..., replaced perfectly good plugs and wires still had it
Read on the forums that some plugs and the positive cable cable on the alternator being to close to the plug wire could induce RF into the ignition system causing a miss ....
took 2 minutes to loosen the cable and rotate it so it was position as far as I could get it from the plug wire
end result... no more miss verified with my TECH ll

Dcasole thanks for the tip. My 2010 GS had a rough idle. I rotated the positive cable on the alternator. Problem solved.
Glad to help
Almost all the posts about random misfire are about people who changed from using OEM wires or plugs
I had replaced my wires and plugs with oem parts and still had the misfire , when I monitored these random misses on my TECH ll and saw that it was happening on every cylinder I knew it had to be more than a single plug wire , plug or injector
Moved the battery cable and the miss was gone .........got to love all the electronics in our cars lol
