Default Need help on 2007 identification/value

Hi all. I'm a member of the forum and a proud owner of a C1 (1959).
I need some help identifying a 2007 corvette for a friend of my in-laws.
I don't know much about the car and to be honest not sure what to look for but am interested in finding a fair market value. I don't know if it's a ZR1 or Z06, or how to find out.
It's a 2007 red with only 14k miles. It has a LS2 engine in it... and that's where my knowledge ends.
I do have the VIN. Is there someplace I can lookup the details on this car as purchased from Chevrolet?
Any assistance is much appreciated.
Thanks all

David

It is not a Z06 or a ZR1.

You can decode the VIN here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/vindecoder.php

Look at the label in the glove box and you will find the RPO codes (RPO = Regular Production Options)

Then visit the For Sale section of the Forum and see what other 06/07 cars are selling for. 08 and above have significant equipment differences so makes it difficult to compare values.

Remember the Forum rules preclude you selling the car on the forum for your acquaintance. Visit the rules section here to read the requirements

Thanks for the info. I'm not, nor was I, planning on selling it. It's a good looking car and I don't know a thing about this generation. I was just looking for the info and you supplied it.
Thanks again.

Take the VIN to any GM service or parts department and ask them to run the VIS and Build Sheet. This will tell you all work done on the car at a GM shop and it will give you all the details of the car and when it was built. Both reports are free.
Also, here is more info than you probably need...

Trans... A6 or MN6
