Hello, i’m in the market to purchase a corvette. I stumbled upon a 2010 grand sport that’s is 1 of 4 built by Hendricks Perfrmance with a supercharger. It has 16k miles. What would be a reasonable price to purchase this vehicle at? Thank you!
Too many variables since Corvettes have a lot of options to begin with. Cars without a factory option are always hard to judge since they usually depend on how much the buyer wants to pay. What is the dealer's price?
For a 2010 GS coupe/convertible with auto/man trans and 1LT/2LT/3LT/4LT interior with xx,xxx miles...c'mon, man, give some detail if you want an educated guess.

I know it has to be the holiday season. Everybody gets their panties in a wad!!!
Without more details it is difficult to assist you with the price range for the car you are looking at. If you go to www.nadaguides.com you can enter the vehicle information to include your zip code and you will get the approximate values for the car based on region, age, mileage, options and condition. However, it will not take the dealer add ons into consideration. The value of modifications are based on what someone is willing to pay for not what someone is asking.
For reference I just purchased a 2012 Grand Sport 1LT, M6 with 30,901 miles & it had Z06 wheels & a Billy Boat Bullet aftermarket exhaust system from the previous owner. I paid $34,700 + TTL. It is Inferno Orange Metallic which I have been searching for for quite some time, and I only found 2 Inferno Orange Corvettes anywhere near me for a decent price. There was another Inferno Orange Grand Sport about 300 miles away that was a 2LT with 17k miles and that dealer was asking $41k. They said they would realistically go down to $40k + TTL and that was it. So for $5300 or so less I went with the first car. Searching around I feel I paid a decent price, and what really matters is I got the car I wanted.
Seems like a really good price to me if that's what you want. Similar to JABCAT I recently purchased a 2012 GS 1LT with 25k miles for $35k + TTL including a 1 year powertrain warranty. It took me over a year of searching to find one near me that I wanted. (I was looking for either Jet Stream Blue or Supersonic Blue).
I would just make sure it comes with some sort of a warranty since it is modified.
Good luck and post some pictures!
PS: You could post that the price is 30k out the door and you are going to have people on this forum tell you that it's too high and they paid way less for much more. Ignore them.
As others have said, find out what the trim level is. This will make a difference in the value of the car, both now and when you sell it later.
16k mile, pristine GS, with a professionally installed supercharger would be a great car, and mid-30s is not out of line if it is a 3LT or 4LT.
I recently sold a 2012 Centennial GS that was modded (heads, cam, supercharger) with 12k miles for $42.5k. And no, the buyer, did not overpay... in the least (I had several prospective buyers lining up for the car). It was a mint car, cared for by meticulous previous owners (I was not the original owner), with documentation.
I can't speak to the condition of the vehicle you are looking at, but _for what you are getting_ if it is THAT nice... that's a lot of car for mid-30s. If you're purchasing it, and think you may sell it in 12-18 months, then it honesty isn't going to matter what you pay... you will lose some $$. But low-30s is probably where you need to be on a fairly quick turn-around.
