TPMS Questions

I am going to purchase a new set of wheels/tires/ & the tpms monitors for each wheel. My question is what will I need to do/have to do to get the computer to read the new monitors? thanks

Here is the procedure you need to do, any tire shop has the tool.

I had mine done by the dealership for free. All I did was asked.

Most reputable tire places these days will be able to deal with this for You.

If the place you're getting your tires mounted at can't deal with it, I'd look for another shop to do the work.

If you're getting the wheels/tires/new tpms sensors as a set from an online vendor and just swapping them as wheel assemblies yourself, you can do it yourself by the video. The "special tool" is available for under $30, or you might be able to use a strong magnet to do the job.
