I need help finding information?
I'm in the middle of discussing the quality of the repair re-paint done on my '08 velocity yellow car. The paint work is beautiful, but the color match is not quite right. I know that the clear coat was just "clear" with no tint coat.
I'm being told that my year car did not have a tinted clear coat??
I've read enough on the Forum to believe that the original paint has a tinted clear coat, but I am unable to find on the Forum a reference to this that specifically points to the fact that the 2008 Velocity Yellow is a 3 part paint system and uses a tinted clear coat.
Can anyone point me to a reference that will have the paint spec for my car??

What is the paint code on your car?
It is listed here for 2007 as a tintcoat and it looks like it was the same for 2008 as there was no change for that color.

Thanks for your help finding this. The place I was able to find the exact information I need is the Order Sheet information. The description is explicit in saying that the Velocity Yellow is a Tinted color.
Now I get to see if this will solve my problem?
