this wasn't my first choice, but is close enough for me.

they've been doing stickers for as long as I can remember.
all you need to do is, just go at them with a razor a few times.
thankfully so far, having no front plate hasn't been an issue
( cited once in 37yrs ).
old school reference to chevorlet. they used to sell new cars ( 1950's-1960-s ) with a promotional "USA 1" front license plate.
as this personal plate is always taken, I tried to get as close as I could.
this is an reference to a chevy promotion. they used to sell new cars
( 1960's I believe ), with this as a front plate.
I wanted to get this one, but it is always taken.
this was the closest I could get.
maybe it's too old a reference, but any old school chevy guys wanna chime in?

Why?
Cops have the capability to see if a plate is valid or not. It's pretty much automated in my neck of the woods. Cops have it running all the time as they are out and about. It reads plates and flags wanted or out of date ones.
In MD, we still have stickers (which crumble into a thousand pieces when removing), which seems antiquated given that they only run plates. We could do away with stickers entirely, but I guess this still allows someone to earn a living with some job.
Oh, and it makes me take the rear plate off to replace the sticker, and wash and wax under the plate.
I got it right away. Surprised so many don't know about the Chevy USA-1 program. Sure sign some of us are getting old.
I got the plate right away but you're not allowed to say that nowadays. It's not cool to put our own country first, period, ask ANTIFA. Personally I wish Chevy would still use these plates but I guess they would kill their sales if they did.

What do you mean by 'Why'?...This is the 21 century...When a cop is behind me he only has to type my plate number in his computer and it will come back valid and also if i have insurance or not.Every year when we renew we receive a sticker that goes on the inside of the windshield on the drivers side ....And you can't steal it and put it on another car. Also if a cop is coming from the opposite direction he can see the my sticker.
