Default Android - Corvette link?

I am not in the least bit tech savvy when it comes to the latest electronics. I have a ZTE Maven II cellphone (2016 year model) and I'm wondering if it can be linked to my 2008 Vette with 3LT package for hands-free use. What's involved and what are the cost considerations?

No direct link, depending on exactly what you want to accomplish you will need some type of auxiliary harness.

I suggest you just go to Ray Kawal's website and start reading the FAQ's to determine what you will need.

I am not familiar with the 3LT radio but if it has AUX IN with RCA jack all you need is one of those $10 Bluetooth Mic/Rec that will allow you answer the phone, get audio directions and control your music. If you want to see your phone as well, I recommend the phone holder that slips into the CD slot.

I can't read the name on this. Can you give me a source for this device?

Google Bluetooth Mic/Receiver car radio

this one popped up for $4. Buy a couple and have a spare. They work great as I described.

If you're looking for a more expensive, but more seamless option. Alpine makes a head unit called the ILX-207, it supports android auto. I have the ILX-107, which is the model for apple CarPlay, and I love mine.

....or you can keep your radio OEM and answer calls, listen to directions and toggle your music back and forth for $4.

just plug it in the RCA jack, hit AUX.

Try it for $4. If you don't like it, throw it away and spend $400++

The OEM radio in the 08 has a 3.5 mm AUX jack, not a RCA!

I have an '08.

My mistake. Thanks for the correction. Thought they were the same.

Yes, it's a 3.5mm input. It works great for Bluetooth $4 module that I posted above.

I'd advise anyone to try it before spending tons of cash and tearing your car apart to install an aftermarket radio.
