Price does seem a little high, even for that low mileage that it has.
Now, now - don't make fun of his wording "heated front seats" since it was lifted directly from the GM window sticker. Got a chuckle when I read that on mine back in '13.

I saw that two days again doing my daily "price survey", and thought, "Whatthe??" If the mileage is right, it certainly commands a premium, but $50K will buy a lot more Vette than that, IMO

Since there were 621 total 2012 base cvts, I guess they're all rare. With 60 Carbon Flash built, they were the 4th most popular color, behind Torch Red, White, and Silver.
What I should have said was rare does not always equal desirable.
I think the CE narrow body looks awful. And I'm not even a GrandpaSport koolaid drinker.
I'll be happy to sell any interested buyers of the above vehicle my CE Grand Sport with 17,000 miles for that exact same price....but hurry, that offer is only good til midnight.

Everybody has a "rare" or "collectible" car. Even me with my 60th 427. Every guy with a modded up Vette has one too. Only thing is, that premium price you pay to get these cars don't translate into any value or worth down the line unless they have ZERO miles on them, and they're 50 years old.
Yeah, he's on crack..........or just unbalanced.
He's a bit high. But it' CL so he is expecting people to offer him pennies on the dollar most likely. The non GS cars are rarer, but still worth less. I'd say it's fair in the 40 to 42k range. It's not a 4lt, not a gs, not a stick, if it had any of those it'd go up more.
My 4lt stick CE GS wouldn't be leaving garage for less than 50 grand. It's hard for many to understand, but there are buyers for whom the CE is worth a LOT more than a normal GS, and IMO it' the best looking Corvette there ever was, and likely there ever will be.
On second thought... my car wouldn't sell for less than 60 grand.
