Well I tip my hat to you sir (or mam). Since black is the best color for the Corvette since it was perceived (cept for 53 of course), it's about time we here from someone in this forum that wants to make theirs look as good as it can by putting whats spose to be on it.....CHROME !!!!! And polished does come in a close second.........
You guys have some great looking vettes, I think I'm partial to the Chrome Z06 reps so far, keep them coming.
I got the ZO-6 reps on mine, but it's red....(second best color to black). The car had them on it when I bought it. They look good, but i'm not big on putting model specific wheels on a lesser model. ZO-6 wheels on a base in my case. I'll change them if and when I run across something I like, but regardless they will be either chrome or aluminum either polished or cleared.....good luck in your search....
The thing about the chrome wheels with the flat panels ... they're like mirrors. You'll see the reflected flash when you're driving slowly, like in a parking lot. It's difficult to describe.
Photo sample ... the white mark on the pavement is a reflection from the wheel. (ETA, I have since purchased new tires.)
