I am having a vibration issue that seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle. I am thinking i will pull the transmission this weekend but wanted to look for pointers or suggestions on what it could be. I do have an after market yanks torq converter and some other mods (cam intake nothing drastic.

I do notice it feels not so smooth in park/idle in that 2-3k rpm range but not the large shudder i feel in drive. Upper rpm is completely smooth

I was thinking maybe torq converter or torq tube. the transmission wouldn't do that out of gear correct?

 

oh and its a 2011 automatic base corvette

 

transmission should be out tomorrow I'll see what I can find!

 

it seems the driveshaft is bent mystery solved!
