Just my opinion, and I am sure I will make more enemies than I already have, but to me, yellow is the ultimate "LOOK AT ME" color. I had a 911 which I repainted yellow decades ago, and never wanted another yellow car since.
I've also had a brown car, and a green car, both of which are dead colors today, so I am certainly no expert. For me, yellow is just a bit too loud, and visible.

I like Yellow and when it comes to cars I like flashy but in everyday life I am anything but flashy. I dress like a bum because I dont care about nice clothes but cars and bikes are my thing so I want to be noticed in them, to each their own.

Certain colors work on certain vehicles, yellow on a vette works, on a Tahoe no so much. Yellow does stand out but it is a Corvette why try to blend in with the crowd? Velocity yellow is bright and does a great job of hiding dirt.

Nothing wrong with Corvette yellow. It's just a bit bold for me. I've owned black,two-tone silver and white Corvettes. My current Arctic White C6 just happens to be the color the car was at the time I was in the market that had the best price, no mods, completely stock, lowest miles and best mechanical condition.
I would have bought my current car if it was any other color except the yellow. Just not the color for me. The same reason some guys like women with big ***** and some guys like little *****.
