Door handle delete?
I recently removed the door "handle" or pad to clean up the contacts because it was sticking a little bit but while I had the black handle off, I liked the look of the door without it. It's hard to explain, but is there any way to keep the door release pad on the door and remove the outside trim piece? Not sure if anyone will understand what I'm asking but if anyone does, is this possible?

Yes you can, just re-install fasteners to hold switch in place.

I like the look, too.
Now you'll want to get in the habit of pulling on the door latch loop to shut it. It will keep fingerprints off of the paint.

Paint them yourself or buy a painted set. I purchased my painted set for $39 & it's a perfect match.

Previous owner of my car had apparently gotten the body-colored pieces (they were/are in the rear storage compartment) but ultimately left them off. I really like the look with them removed so I've never been inclined to put them on.

I ordered trim set painted to match the car, instead of that ugly flat black trim piece.
