Gloss black ZR1 side skirts installed
Just installed a set of C7 Carbon fiberglass ZR1 side skirts in gloss black on my Inferno Orange GS. Install was pretty straight forward although the two pre-drilled holes at the front of the skirts (behind front wheel) needed to be drilled out to line up with the two mounting screws in the underside of the car & sit flush against the rear mud flap piece. They complete the look with the gloss black ZR1 front splitter. I’m waiting on the ZR1 extended rear spoiler which will be delivered Thursday & dropped off for paint. Over all very happy with the products from C7 Carbon & the customer service.

Color combo looks great. Especially with the black wheels. I am also waiting on a zr1 extended spoiler for my black 09, due to arrive Friday. More pics once you’ve mounted the spoiler!

JABCAT, very nice car. What color are you painting the ZR1 extended spoiler? Black, Orange? How long was the wait for the spoiler?
JN499, same for you, how long was the wait for the spoiler?

I contacted C7 via PM here on the forum. I ordered it on Saturday 2/10, it shipped yesterday 2/12, and it’s scheduled for delivery Friday 2/16. Great communication from the guys at c7. I ordered it in gloss black it should match mine nicely.

Thank you. I am having the spoiler painted Inferno Orange to match. I added the spoiler to my order on 2/5 and it shipped yesterday. There was a bit of a hang up on the side skirts, was originally told 2-3 weeks & it ended up being 7. They were kind enough to give me a nice discount on the spoiler due to the delay on the side skirts.

Interesting.... I see that you already have what looks like the full length spoiler painted orange. I thought you might paint the new one black just to have a different look.
Either way, it's going to look killer.

I do have the full-length spoiler already, which I like, but just not aggressive enough. I have a weird thing with different colors on certain parts of the car. To me a black or carbon fiber spoiler doesn't look integrated. I had a Hugger Orange Camaro SS back in the day that originally came with black mirrors, top & door handles. I had those pieces painted to match and it gave the SS a much better look - to me anyway. I don't plan to add any black above the side markers & am going back and forth whether or not to swap out the orange GS emblems for gloss black with orange letters??

It looks great I just don't know how you guys do it with those front lips. I would love to have one but I would probably end up destroying it sooner THAN later.

The biggest problem for me is dips in the road going in and out of parking lots. Some of them are real killers. Mine scrapes the pavement doing that a lot but hasn't been severely damaged...yet. Mine is fiberglass and pretty sturdy but if it ever breaks up I'll just get rid of it and not replace it. I love how it looks but it's a nuisance worrying about it every time I go anywhere.

I'm just careful & really pay attention to where I'm driving. I never pull all the way up in parking spots so I avoid hitting curbs or parking blocks, and I usually slow down a lot before entering a parking lot or driveway entrance.
