Traction Control/ Active Handling Light
I rareley drive my 05 Z51. The past couple times i have taken it out the Service Active Handling/ Traction Control / ABS Light comes on. I took it to my buddies shop and he hooked it up to the code reader and he said i need to replace the Speed sensor in RR. Is this common or is there something more i should be looking into? Thank you in advance.

Drive it more often, the sensors become lazy for the lack of technical answer. Thus resulting in the symptoms your experiencing. It would occur every winter in my z06. My two cents...

How did you resolve the problem so you could drive the car more. Were new sensors required?

My 05 was brand new on day #2 when this happened. Maybe 4 years later a factory recall/fix to fix the problem . Intermittent warning lights until 2013 when the right front brake locked up in my driveway. It's gone, in favor of a 2011 with zero probs. Knock on wood.
