It is a treasure. Makes you wonder why someone tried to bury it?..

Sure. As long as the car is "clean".
Help me out here...someone buys a $75k car, tints the fogs/sides/tails, tints the windows (including the windshield) all within the first 700 miles and puts it in a storage unit and "forgets" it.
As someone said...take your drug sniffing dog for the test drive.

Clean title, not reported stolen. OK! Did original buyer pay cash for it or is there some bank that has a lien on it and the original owner hid it from being repossessed? Nobody forgets that they have a $75K car in storage. There's a lot of information being left out of this story.

Most often, the owner didn't forget but most likely died.
When I went overseas, I placed my 2001 GMC Yukon in a large storage unit. If anything happened to me, it would have fell into the same category.
I just hope it wasn't registered to a Service Member who went into combat and never returned home.
If that were the case, I would offer the vehicle back to the family for what I bought the storage unit for.

There would have been a name on the lease for the storage unit.
The car didn't just materialize out of thin air.

I saw this on another forum too and nobody thought of that possibility. That's quite sobering.
Unfortunately, whoever the next owner is could still have a collection agency show up demanding the ~ $70k balance on the loan.
I have a hard time believing that car was fully paid for and clear.
