Just a warning that, unless you are only making them for yourself, it's a trademark/copyright violation without written permission from GM.
I hope your's don't fade like the ones currently available.
You can make sets for yourself and you can give them away. The moment there is a monetary exchange you are violating copyright and trademark laws. Don't fool yourself into thinking that GM won't come after a small business. I know of a small used car dealer (And I mean very small) where the owners (Husband & Wife) both of their first names started with an M. He made his logo look like the M & M candy logo and it didn't matter that this place was far away from any big cities, Mars filed an injunction and a cease and desist order. He had to change the logo completely. Fortunately, because he complied immediately he was not forced to compensate Mars for their attorney fees or any profit he made from the use of their logo or it's likeness.
I will end this with a short statement. Do whatever your a** can handle!
Thanks for the legal history lesson! For all of those "legal beagles" out there, I wasn't interested in selling them, or did it say anywhere in my post that I was interested in selling them. If it is okay with those "in the know", I was making them for myself and other club members. Enough with the legal BS! Damm, next thing is someone will need my mailing address so they can send me a bill.
There is an old joke, what do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?
A GOOD START

Well I don't believe it was meant as information only. There have been members that made different items and then sold them and got into trouble with copyright laws. The Corvette Racing Jake is a good example.
So lighten up. the members are only trying to help. All you needed to do after the very first comment on GM and copyright laws was to simply stated that you were interested in making them for yourself and a friend
